Final Chance to See Santa at Bountiful Museum Tonight!
There’s something unmistakable about growing up or living in the Bountiful Area. Whether it's the familiar faces at the grocery store, the buzz of Main Street during the holidays, or the unbeatable views from the bench, residents know there’s a special rhythm to life in our close-knit community.
And if you've been around these parts for a while, you likely know where to catch Santa before he heads back to the North Pole. Tonight, Wednesday, December 17th, marks his final stop at the Bountiful Museum from 4 to 7 p.m. The earlier visits saw light crowds, but this last appearance is expected to be a busy one—so plan accordingly if you’re hoping to sneak in that last-minute wish list.
Whether you’ve been here for decades or just long enough to call it home, moments like these—holiday traditions, shared experiences, and a dash of small-town charm—are what make Bountiful feel like more than just a place on the map.

Sunburst Elementary Students Shine in National Christmas Tree Display
Students at Sunburst Elementary in the Davis School District were given a unique opportunity to showcase their creativity on a national stage. Chosen to represent the state of Utah, these young artists designed handmade ornaments for the National Christmas Tree display in Washington, D.C. Their creations drew inspiration from Utah’s stunning natural landscapes, iconic landmarks, and beloved outdoor activities.
The students’ ornaments now adorn the Utah-themed tree as part of the National Christmas Tree Experience, a tradition that highlights the diverse cultures and communities across the United States. While the physical display is part of a festive installation near the White House, the students’ artwork remains accessible to the public through an online gallery. Check it out 👉 HERE.

Salt Lake City Police Investigate Suspicious Death Near I-15 Off-Ramp
Salt Lake City police are investigating a suspicious death after a man's body was found near a freeway off-ramp early Sunday morning. Officers responded around 1:40 a.m. to the area of 600 North and I-15, where the man was discovered unresponsive and pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities have not yet identified the man, and an autopsy has been scheduled to determine the cause of death. Investigators are reviewing nearby surveillance footage and collecting evidence, though no suspects have been named.
The investigation is ongoing, and police are asking anyone with information to come forward.

🏀 Girls Basketball - Viewmont and Woods Cross Take Opposite Paths in Region 6 Play
Viewmont pulled away in the second half to defeat Brighton 66-45, fueled by a 22-13 third-quarter run. Kailey Selleneit led the Vikings with 23 points, and Peyton Burningham added 13. Brighton’s Sophie Nielsen scored 22 in the loss.
Woods Cross fell to Alta 57-38 after a rough first quarter put them in a 20-6 hole. The Wildcats showed improvement as the game progressed, led by Ili Crockett’s 12 points and Adia Cook’s 8. Despite the loss, Woods Cross showed signs of growth heading into their next Region 6 matchup.

🌿 Wellness Wednesday with Erin 🌿
🦶 Why Foot Zoning Works
Your feet are more than tired—they’re messengers. Foot zoning is a gentle, intentional practice that works with reflex points on the feet to support balance throughout the entire body. When these points are stimulated, the nervous system softens and the body is reminded how to heal itself.
✨ Benefits of Foot Zoning:
• Calms the nervous system and reduces stress
• Supports deeper, more restful sleep
• Improves digestion and energy flow
• Helps the body release stored tension
• Creates a sense of grounding and emotional clarity
✨ Wellness Tip:
At the end of your day, try placing one hand on your heart and one on your feet for a full minute. Breathe slowly. This simple grounding practice mirrors the calming effects of foot zoning and helps signal safety to your body.
Foot zoning isn’t about forcing change—it’s about restoring harmony.
When the body feels balanced, everything else follows. 💜
