🚧 Late-Night Ramp Closures in Centerville
The Quick Summary: Centerville City announced two overnight ramp closures at Park Lane this weekend for construction work. The southbound Legacy Parkway on-ramp will close Friday (April 24) from 11 PM to 7 AM, followed by the northbound I-15 off-ramp closure Saturday (April 25) during the same hours. Detours will be in place while crews install concrete barriers.
Why It Matters: If you're driving late at night this weekend, expect detours and plan a few extra minutes through the Park Lane area.
✈️ Air Show Delayed to 2027
The popular “Warriors Over the Wasatch” Air Show at Hill Air Force Base has been postponed and will not take place in 2026. Organizers cited scheduling and logistical challenges, pushing the next show to 2027 instead. The event typically draws large crowds from across Davis County and beyond.
Why It Matters: Local families and businesses will miss a major community event that usually brings in visitors and boosts local activity. 👉 Read More

⚾ Farmington Baseball Edges Weber in Close One
Farmington’s Phoenix pulled out a 6–5 win over Weber on the road Friday. A big 6th inning (4 runs) made the difference, with Tate Dye leading the way on the mound with 9 strikeouts. Weber threatened late with 3 runs in the 7th but couldn’t complete the comeback.
Why It Matters: Farmington keeps building momentum this season, showing they can close out tight games—something that could matter come region play.

🐾 Back to the Basics 🐶
Sometimes the best way to support your dog’s health is by keeping things simple.
Dogs naturally benefit from small amounts of whole, fresh foods—like parsley, basil, pumpkin, carrots, and blueberries. These ingredients can support digestion, add nutrients, and bring variety to your dog’s routine.
But it’s not just about nutrition… it’s about enrichment.
Dogs explore the world through scent, texture, and interaction. When you give them safe, natural elements to engage with, you’re supporting both their body and their mind.
💡 Try this:
• Add a fresh topper to meals
• Use whole ingredients in enrichment toys
• Let your dog explore safe, natural textures and scents
🐾 Coming up at Preppy Paws: Join us this Saturday, April 25th! Create a pet-friendly planter box filled with dog-safe herbs and ingredients you can use at home!
Because a more natural approach often leads to a more balanced, happy dog. 🌱

🛁 Spring Showers & Skin Comfort 🌦️🐾
April showers bring more than just mud — they also bring pollen, moisture, and changing temperatures that can affect your dog’s skin. Regular bathing helps rinse away irritants while supporting a healthy, balanced coat. Dogs on a consistent routine often stay more comfortable through these seasonal shifts.
As allergy season ramps up, availability can tighten — now’s a great time to plan ahead.
