🚗 Layton Classic Car Restoration Dispute Raises Consumer Concerns

A Millcreek woman says her late husband's 1938 Pontiac sat at a Layton restoration shop for nearly six years after they paid more than $16,000 for an engine swap. KSL reports the unfinished car was recently towed home, and the Utah Division of Consumer Protection has previously fined the shop $27,500 over complaints involving undelivered services and ordered it to stop violating the Utah Consumer Sales Practices Act.
