💔 Community Rallies Around Annie’s Cafe
After Break-In

A beloved local spot, Annie’s Cafe, is feeling the impact after a break-in on April 15. According to manager Montse, two individuals forced entry, removed security cameras, and took safes—causing a significant financial loss.

For many, Annie’s is more than a cafe—it’s a welcoming space built with heart by owners Annie and David. Thankfully, no one was hurt, but the damage is tough.

The community is already stepping up with kind messages and support, and a GoFundMe has been created to help them recover.

If you’re able, consider donating, visiting, or simply sharing their story. Let’s show them how much this community cares. 💛

🎶 Did You Know? Hopebox Theatre Has a Choir!

Here’s something fun you might not know—Hopebox Theatre isn’t just about incredible stage productions… they also have a community choir! 🎤

The Hopebox Choir is kicking off a new session, inviting anyone who loves to sing to join—no matter your experience level. It’s all about bringing people together, creating beautiful music, and spreading a little extra hope along the way.

Rehearsals begin May 17, with a concert planned for July 13. Whether you’re a seasoned singer or just love belting it out in the car, there’s a place for you.

It’s just one more way Hopebox continues to uplift and connect our community—one note at a time. 💛

🌊 Ponies & Pilates Event Brings Movement and Mindfulness to West Bountiful

A unique blend of fitness and connection is coming to West Bountiful this spring as Ponies & Pilates invites the community to slow down, stretch, and spend time with horses in a peaceful ranch setting.

The beginner-friendly event will take place on May 2 at 10 a.m. at Horse Connections, where participants will enjoy a guided Pilates flow paired with hands-on interaction with horses. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn how to properly brush, lead, and connect with the animals under the guidance of horse expert Haley.

Designed for all experience levels, the event focuses on both physical movement and mindful connection—offering a chance to recharge while building confidence around horses in a supportive environment.

Registration is required to attend, and those interested are encouraged to reserve a spot in advance.

Woods Cross Sweeps Bountiful in Rivalry Series

Woods Cross completed a three-game sweep over Bountiful with an 11–8 win Friday in a back-and-forth showdown at Bountiful High. The Redhawks jumped out early, but a big third inning helped the Wildcats take control. Both teams traded runs late, tying it 8–8 before Woods Cross pulled ahead in the final innings to seal it.

Why It Matters: Local rivalries like this one bring serious energy to the community—and this sweep gives Woods Cross bragging rights heading deeper into the season.
