🐶 3 Rescue Pups Still Need Homes

Animal Care of Davis County is caring for three puppies—Jay, Finch, and Cardinal—who were abandoned at a local park and have spent the past month learning to trust people. Two of the five pups have already moved to rescues, while the remaining dogs continue working on socialization and basic training. The shelter is now looking for foster or adoptive homes to help them adjust to life outside the kennel.

🏆 Bountiful High Mandonelles Win 3 National Titles

The Bountiful High School Mandonelles returned from a national competition in California with three national championships—winning Military, Dance, and Show categories. The team also placed 5th in Halftime Hip Hop. On top of that, they earned a prestigious Judges Choice Award for Best Showmanship for their Military routine, selected from more than 1,300 routines at the competition.

 🥎 Bountiful Falls to Box Elder

Box Elder rolled past Bountiful 13-0 in a nonregion matchup, powered by big bats and dominant pitching from Kennadie Blackmer. The Bees scored in every inning, while Bountiful was held to just one hit against a sharp Box Elder defense.

Why It Matters: For local fans, it’s an early-season snapshot of where Bountiful stands as the Braves work to bounce back and sharpen up before region play.

• Mighty Pebble Rebel Sets New Opening Date

  Mighty Pebble Rebel is now planning its grand opening on March 16 at its new home inside Whisperwood Boutique, 82 S Main Street in Bountiful. The crystal shop says a full week of opening celebrations is in the works — stay tuned for details.
