๐ก New Utah Backyard-Cottage Law Takes Effect Today
A new Utah law taking effect Oct. 1 requires covered cities to allow detached accessory dwelling units on qualifying single-family properties of at least 11,000 square feet, while still allowing local rules for things like setbacks, size and parking. Utah Legislature West Bountiful has adopted a new detached-ADU ordinance, and Centerville now provides a detached-ADU application and requirements. West Bountiful City
South Davis homeowners considering a backyard cottage may have new options, but they should check their cityโs current requirements before making plansโespecially as some city webpages are still catching up with the new rules. Bountifulโs current page, for example, still describes detached ADUs as a conditional use. Bountiful

๐โโ๏ธ Why Is One Side Always Tighter?
Ever notice that one shoulder is always tighter, one hip feels stiffer, or you constantly have a knot on the same side?
You're not imagining it! Our everyday habits can cause us to use one side of our bodies differently than the other. Think about which hand you use for your phone, the shoulder you carry your bag on, how you sit at your deskโor even which side you tend to sleep on.
Over time, those little habits can add up.
That's one reason I encourage clients to tell us about the things they notice, even if they seem insignificant. โMy right shoulder always bothers meโ is valuable information! It helps us tailor your massage to what your body needs instead of treating every session exactly the same.
โจ Your massage should be as individual as you are.
If you've got that one stubborn spot that never seems to let go, bring it to us! Kristi, Alicia, and I would love to help.
