❤️ North Salt Lake Academy Helps Men Rebuild Their Lives
The Quick Summary: The John Volken Academy recently celebrated a major facility renovation in North Salt Lake. Its free, two-year residential program helps men overcome addiction and rebuild their lives through peer mentorship, life skills, and hands-on job training. The Academy currently serves about 55 men.
Why It Matters: This local nonprofit is giving men a second chance while helping them build the skills for lasting independence.
🗳️ Election Ballots Are on Their Way! Here's What to Know
Keep an eye on your mailbox! Davis County began mailing ballots Tuesday, October 13, for the upcoming November 3 General Election.
Residents who prefer to drop off their ballots can use official county drop boxes, including these convenient South Davis locations:
📍 Bountiful: South Davis Senior Center, 726 S. 100 E.
📍 Centerville: Centerville Library, 45 S. 400 W.
📍 Farmington: Davis County Administration Building, 61 S. Main St.
Drop boxes are available 24 hours a day until 8 PM on Election Day, November 3. Be sure to return your ballot in its official return envelope.

🏥 Mountain Medical Associates Welcomes Community to New Bountiful Location
There's a new location to celebrate in Bountiful! Mountain Medical Associates is holding a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Tuesday, October 20, from 12–12:30 PM.
The Davis Chamber of Commerce is helping welcome the practice to its location at 420 W. 1500 S., Suite 102, inside the Wasatch building. A light lunch will be served at the event.

⚽ Bountiful & Farmington Girls Soccer Chase State Titles!
It's playoff time, and two South Davis girls soccer teams are making some noise!
The defending 5A state champion Bountiful Redhawks entered the tournament as the No. 1 seed after a 14–3 regular season. Led by standout Myka Page, who has scored 25 goals, the Redhawks opened their title defense Tuesday against neighboring rival Woods Cross.
Meanwhile, the Farmington Phoenix claimed the Region 1 championship and earned the No. 3 seed in the 6A tournament! After finishing 11–5, the Phoenix opened postseason play Tuesday against Weber.
Both teams have their sights set on a state championship. Let's go, Redhawks and Phoenix! 🙌
