🛹 Farmington Gives Lagoon’s Jet Star a Second Life
Farmington is planning a new All-Wheels Park at the Old Glovers Park site, just south of Canyon Creek Elementary. The park will feature areas for skateboards, bikes, scooters and rollerblades — plus salvaged pieces of Lagoon’s retired Jet Star ride worked into the design. Construction is planned to begin in 2027.
The project will give Farmington families a new recreation spot while preserving a fun piece of local Lagoon history. 👉 Read More
🇺🇸 Hear Local Veterans’ Tonight
Local veterans will be at Bountiful Veterans Park on tonight, Sept. 23, from 6–8 PM to share stories from the Korean War, Vietnam War, Cold War and War on Terrorism. Visitors can stop by anytime during the evening, and military displays may also be on site.
It’s a free chance for local families to hear local veterans’ experiences firsthand and connect with the community’s military history.

💖 Dolly Parton Day Comes to Farmington Friday
Utah is celebrating Dolly Parton Day this Friday, Sept. 25, and Station Park is getting in on the fun.
The date — 9/25 — is a playful nod to Dolly’s classic 9 to 5, and celebrations around Utah will honor her music, personality and longtime support of children’s literacy through the Dolly Parton Imagination Library.
The evening at Station Park will include Dolly hits from the DJ booth, craft stations and a costume contest with categories like Best Overall Dolly, Best “9 to 5,” Best “Jolene,” Youngest Dolly and Most Rhinestones.
There will also be an opportunity to sign up for or support Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, which mails free books each month to enrolled children ages 0–5.

🏐 Woods Cross Sweeps Bountiful Volleyball
Woods Cross defeated Bountiful in straight sets, 25-18, 25-8, 25-13, in Region 6 girls volleyball action at Woods Cross. The Wildcats controlled the match throughout, including a dominant second set, and extended their winning streak to 20 matches.
The result adds another chapter to a local rivalry as both teams continue Region 6 play.
