🎢 Lagoon Is Keeping Its Next Big Ride Under Wraps
Something new is coming to Lagoon — but for now, the Farmington amusement park is keeping the details a secret.
Lagoon announced Thursday that it will reveal a new ride on Saturday evening, Oct. 3, with the attraction expected to open in July 2027. The park says the ride will bring an entirely new experience using innovative design and technology.
One clue: construction activity has been spotted around the former Jet Star 2 area, where a racing-themed banner has also appeared. But exactly what Lagoon is building? We’ll have to wait for the big reveal. 👉 Read More
🚗 Meals on Wheels Seeks Bountiful Volunteers
Davis County’s Meals on Wheels program is looking for volunteer drivers to help deliver lunches to homebound seniors, including residents in Bountiful. Typical delivery hours are between about 9 AM and 12:30 PM on weekdays, with flexible scheduling and training provided.
A few hours of volunteer time can help local seniors stay connected and receive regular meals at home. 👉 Details
⚽ Bountiful Girls Soccer Is Having Quite a Season
While football gets plenty of Friday-night attention, Bountiful’s girls soccer team deserves a little Buzz, too.
The Redhawks have put together an impressive season, sitting at 10-3 overall and 7-1 in Region 6, with the roundup showing them in first place following a four-game winning streak. Pasted text

🏈 Friday Night Lights Across South Davis
Three local football matchups are on the schedule tonight:
🏈 Viewmont at Bountiful | 7 PM
🏈 Alta at Woods Cross | 7 PM
🏈 Fremont at Farmington | 7 PM
The Bountiful matchup brings the Vikings and Redhawks together for a Region 6 showdown. Bountiful enters tonight at 3-2 after beating Woods Cross 28-7 last week. Deseret News
