🌄 Bountiful Named Utah’s Best Small Town for Seniors

Bountiful is getting national attention after a new feature from WorldAtlas named it the best small town in Utah for seniors. The article highlights the city’s low crime rates, strong healthcare access—including Lakeview Hospital—and easy access to outdoor recreation and nearby Salt Lake City. Mayor Kate Bradshaw shared the recognition on Facebook, celebrating the community that makes Bountiful a great place to live at any age. (WorldAtlas)

Why It Matters:
It’s a nice boost for local pride—and reinforces Bountiful’s reputation as a safe, well-connected community for retirees and longtime residents alike.

📦 Estate Sale Treasure Hunt in Bountiful

Treasured Again Estate Sales is hosting a three-day estate sale in Bountiful from March 13–15, 9 AM–1 PM daily. The home—owned by a longtime collector for more than 70 years—is filled with vintage finds including Roseville, Hall, and Hull pottery, antique furniture, china sets, artwork, jewelry, vintage clothing, and yard art. The address will be posted the night before the sale, with discounts increasing through the weekend.

Why It Matters:
For local treasure hunters and vintage lovers, this is the kind of estate sale where unique pieces—and good deals—show up fast. 👉 Details

🌍Host Families Needed for Exchange Students

A local coordinator with CETUSA is looking for two host families in the area for international exchange students arriving this school year. Juliane (15) from Germany enjoys horseback riding, camping, and music, while Riccardo (16) from Italy loves volleyball, biking, science, and family game nights. Both students are eager to experience American life and share their cultures with a welcoming local family.

Why It Matters:
Hosting gives local families a chance to build lifelong friendships while giving an international student a real South Davis community experience.

🥍Woods Cross Falls to Payson in Season Opener

The Woods Cross boys lacrosse team opened its season with a 12–1 loss to Payson in a non-region matchup. Payson was led by Nate Morgan, Parker Judd, and Austin Ewell, who each scored three goals. The Wildcats held Payson scoreless for stretches early but didn’t get on the board until the final quarter.

Why It Matters:
It’s the first game of the season for Woods Cross, giving the Wildcats an early look at where they can improve before region play begins.
