Watch over 120 young entrepreneurs (ages 5–14) launch real businesses at the 2025 Acton Children’s Business Fair on Saturday, May 10th, from 3:30–6:00 PM at Bountiful Junior High. With 50+ booths of kid-created products, this hands-on event encourages creativity, confidence, and independent learning. Parents can’t help—this is all about the kids! Celebrate Mom with Free Fun and Local Prizes at Indy Clover Event - May 10th | 10am to 1pm

Officer Taylor Joins Bountiful Police Department, Vows to Serve Community with Dedication

The Bountiful City Police Department has welcomed a new addition to its team. Officer Taylor was officially sworn in yesterday, marking the beginning of her service with the department. The department expressed enthusiasm for her arrival, noting their confidence in her ability to contribute meaningfully to both the force and the community.

Officer Taylor's appointment reflects the department’s ongoing commitment to strengthening public safety and community engagement. Residents are encouraged to extend their support as she begins this important role.

Local Residents Raise Alarm Over Proposed 1,600-Bed Shelter Near City Border

A proposed 1,300–1,600 bed homeless shelter near 2200 West on Salt Lake City's border with North Salt Lake is drawing concern from NSL residents. Many fear negative impacts on schools, safety, and infrastructure, while others support the initiative as a structured response to homelessness. Critics cite a lack of local input and uncertain long-term funding as major issues. Some community members stress that while they support helping the homeless, they believe this approach is unsustainable and shifts the burden unfairly onto neighboring cities.
