Autism and Artistry: Liduvina Wins National Award with Inspiring Self-Portrait

Liduvina, a talented young artist with autism, recently won the National PTA Reflections Award with her glass painting self-portrait titled "Liduvina Singing." Known for her unique method of painting backward and communicating through art and a letterboard, Lidu's work incorporates elements like noise cancellation headphones, symbolizing her sensory challenges. Besides her artistic achievements, she has also been recognized as the 2023 Utah Miss Amazing Jr. Teen and is an active advocate for autism awareness. Lidu aims to eventually open an art studio and create custom shoes, reflecting her dedication to art and community service.
