Water Walkers Utah
Bringing Clarity to Your View
In the heart of Utah's breathtaking landscapes, a local family-run business, Water Walkers Utah, is making waves with its exceptional window and glass cleaning services. Founded five years ago by Fernando Sao Jose, Water Walkers Utah has quickly become a beacon of clarity in our community.
A Unique Approach to Window Cleaning
What sets Water Walkers Utah apart is their innovative approach to glass cleaning. Amidst Utah’s dusty winds and desert storms, keeping windows streak-free is a challenge. Water Walkers Utah has risen to the occasion with a unique solution - a deionization process that purifies water, turning it into a powerful cleaning agent. This method ensures that your windows aren't just cleaned; they are restored to their pristine, crystal-clear state.
A Range of Expert Services
Water Walkers Utah doesn’t stop at window cleaning. Their services include:
- Gutter cleaning
- Power washing
- House cleaning
- Post-construction cleaning
- Solar panel cleaning
These services are more than just tasks for Fernando and his team; they are passions. Their commitment to quality is evident in every job, ensuring that clients receive the best care and results.
Community at Heart
Beyond their business, Water Walkers Utah is deeply rooted in our community. With special pricing for locals and Fernando's dedication as a service missionary, they embody the spirit of giving back. Their involvement in local initiatives and sponsorships is a testament to their commitment to the community.
Innovations on the Horizon
Always looking to improve, Water Walkers Utah has introduced an extender and pure water filter system, enhancing their window cleaning process. This new technology ensures that once their work is done, your windows will not just be clean, but crystal clear.

A Welcome Respite: Rent Prices in Wasatch Front Take a Dip, But Will It Last?
After years of increasing rent prices, the Wasatch Front, including Salt Lake City, is experiencing a decrease in rent costs. This is a significant change from the average annual rent increase of 6.5% to 7% since 2011, which spiked to 20% in 2021. In 2023, Utah's rent decreased by 5.71% from last year, with an 8.5% drop since April. This is part of a wider trend in Western states like Montana and Oregon. Factors contributing to this decrease include the end of some remote work policies, reducing the influx of new residents, and a surge in construction, particularly in Salt Lake County, resulting in a greater housing supply and higher vacancy rates. However, experts warn that this downturn might be temporary, with expectations of rent increases in the spring, though not as drastic as during the pandemic. Renters currently have an opportunity to secure better deals, but should be aware this may be a short-term trend.
Teenager Apprehended After Road Rage Shooting at Antelope Island State Park
A teenager was detained following a shooting incident at Antelope Island State Park, which occurred near the park's toll booth. The incident, happening on Wednesday afternoon, resulted from an alleged road rage situation involving several individuals in a car, leaving a man in his 50s injured. The victim received first aid and was stabilized, but his condition is not fully disclosed. Two people from the shooter's car cooperated with law enforcement, while a 16-year-old fled but was soon captured with the help of a helicopter. All suspects are now in custody, ensuring public safety. The park was temporarily closed for investigation, and the incident has highlighted the importance of prompt and effective law enforcement response.

Celebrating Voices of the Future: Winners of the 16th Annual MLK Jr. Speech Contest Announced
Davis School District has announced the winners of the Davis School District's 16th Annual Martin Luther King Jr. Speech Contest. This year's contest saw a remarkable turnout with hundreds of students across various age groups participating. These young orators, after meticulously selecting, preparing, and memorizing excerpts from Dr. King’s iconic speeches, delivered their pieces to a judging panel comprising current and former teachers.
The contest, spanning two days, was a showcase of talent and dedication, culminating in the selection of winners across five categories.
In the K-2nd grade category, Lolli Poll clinched the first place, followed by Alexander Harrison and Levi Crook. Lynelle Hernandez, Luca Bailey, and Marli Buys emerged as top performers in the 3rd-4th grade category.
The 5th-6th grade winners included Gabriella Hayward, Malan Poll, and WeiWei Wang.
For Junior High, Beatrice Etter, Jesus Garcia, and Kenyon Bell were the top three, while in the High School category, Blithe Bigelow, Sadeelyn Savage, and Morgan Becker were honored.
⭐Congratulations to all the winners for their inspiring performances and for keeping Dr. King's legacy alive through their powerful words.
