Bountiful’s Enchanting Holiday Lights Support Local Family in Need

The highly anticipated holiday light display in Bountiful will run nightly from November 29th through the Christmas season, featuring new attractions, a walkthrough option, and a scavenger hunt. Santa will visit on December 14th, offering treats and free photo opportunities. Donations collected during the event will support Tyler Hobert, a local resident battling leukemia, and his family. Visitors can enjoy the display at 1537 N 175 W, Bountiful, UT, with music accessible on 99.3 FM.

West Bountiful to Celebrate Christmas on Onion Street with Festive Fun 

West Bountiful is gearing up for its beloved annual tradition, Christmas on Onion Street, set to bring holiday cheer on December 7th. The celebration kicks off at the city park from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, where families can enjoy hot chocolate, engaging games, festive crafts, and live music performed by a local choir. Visitors will also have the chance to meet Santa and take memorable holiday photos.

Later in the day, at 4:30 PM, Santa will make his way through the city aboard a fire truck, spreading joy to residents across West Bountiful. Hosted by the Youth City Council, this event promises fun, community spirit, and holiday magic for all ages.

Winter Parking Rules Aim to Keep North Salt Lake Streets Safe and Clear

The City of North Salt Lake enforces Winter Parking Rules during snowstorms, prohibiting street parking while snow or ice accumulates and until streets are fully cleared. Residents are urged to comply to avoid citations and aid in efficient snow removal.

Thriving Wild Turkey Population Sets Stage for Utah's 2024 Hunt

Utah's wild turkey population is thriving, with an estimated 30,000 to 35,000 birds across the state. This growth is attributed to favorable environmental conditions that have supported their natural habitats.

For those interested in participating in next spring's limited-entry turkey hunt, the application period is approaching. It will open on December 12 and close on December 27. Hunters can submit their applications online or contact their nearest Utah Division of Wildlife Resources (DWR) regional office by phone.
