Ghostbusters and Classic Cars Unite at Bountiful's Coats for Kids Car Show

The Bountiful Rotary Coats for Kids Car Show is back this June for a two-day event packed with vintage vehicles, local flavor, and community support. Taking place Friday, June 13 from 5 to 9:30 p.m. on Bountiful’s Main Street and Saturday, June 14 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 550 N 200 W, the show draws crowds with its mix of classic cars, food vendors, and family-friendly activities.

A special attraction this year is the SLC Ghostbusters, bringing their movie-inspired costumes, props, and replica Ecto-1 for an interactive experience sure to delight fans of all ages.

Proceeds go toward the Coats for Kids program, which provides winter coats for children in need. Organized annually by the Bountiful Rotary Club, the event blends nostalgia, entertainment, and charity into one of the community’s most anticipated summer gatherings.

Two Arrested Following Gunfire and Altercation on Farmington Main Street

A man and woman were arrested in Farmington after reports of gunfire Thursday night led police to a vehicle containing an injured man, open alcohol, a handgun, and drugs. The man, later identified as Michael Galke, reportedly fired a weapon and accused the woman of hitting him with a car. Both face multiple charges.

Police: Missing Utah Girl May Have Been Lured by Online Strangers

Alisa Petrov, a 15-year-old from South Jordan, Utah, has been missing since April 21 and is believed to be in danger after leaving home to meet people she had interacted with online. Surveillance video shows her in Provo late that evening, and she was reportedly seeking transportation to Las Vegas. Authorities and family are urging the public for help in locating her. The investigation remains ongoing. Authorities urge anyone who has seen Alisa or has information about her whereabouts to contact law enforcement. The South Jordan Police Department is handling the case under file number SJ25-11568. Tips can be reported to the Salt Lake Valley Emergency Communications Center at 801-840-4000.
