From Centerville to Orlando: Clown Battles Kidney Failure with Humor
Mat Uhl, or Beeber B. Clown, is a Utah man using clowning to cope with kidney failure. Despite his health challenges, he's pursuing his passion and is set to attend the World Clown Convention in Orlando. He sees clowning as a way to bring joy to others and himself, even incorporating the theme of mortality into his act. Uhl's journey is a story of resilience and finding happiness in difficult circumstances.

Heroic Rescue: Firefighter Saves Dog Trapped in Icy Waters in West Point
In West Point, a recent incident has prompted fire officials to caution pet owners about the hazards of winter conditions. A dog named Bob, known for his love of water, found himself in peril when he became trapped in a body of water, unable to escape due to the ice shelf. Recognizing the danger, one firefighter bravely ventured out to rescue Bob, while the rest of the team remained on the bank to maintain safety. North Davis Fire District officials emphasized the importance of vigilance, advising the community to be cautious with their pets and children around ice, which may not be as stable as it appears.
Nordic Valley Ski Resort Confronts Fire Damage, Temporarily Shuts Down
A fire at Nordic Valley Ski Resort caused significant damage to its barn, ticket office, restaurant, and business offices, leading to a temporary closure. The resort is working on replacing necessary equipment and will issue credits to those who have purchased lift tickets.

π BYU Drops to 20th as Utah State Climbs Higher in National Basketball Rankings
Utah State's basketball team has climbed four spots to number 16 in the AP Top 25 rankings, surpassing BYU, which is now ranked 20th. This change follows Utah State's win against UNLV and BYU's varied performance in recent games. Utah State's ranking reflects their strong defensive and offensive statistics, while BYU's Aly Khalifa has been a key player for their team. Nationally, UConn has risen to the top spot in the rankings, influenced by other teams' recent performances.
