Join the Legislative Movement: Davis Chamber Invites Community Participation
The Northern Utah Chamber Coalition (NUCC) recently concluded its 2023-24 legislative session with a key event that featured discussions from representatives and senators about their legislative endeavors. The NUCC unites Chambers across Northern Utah to collaborate for the community's benefit, emphasizing the importance of active participation in the legislative process. The Davis Chamber of Commerce invites community members to join its legislative affairs committee, offering a platform to engage with legislators and influence government policy. Early Kitten Season in Utah: A Call for Community Awareness
Utah's milder winter has led to the early arrival of kitten season, resulting in an influx of stray kittens. The Humane Society of Utah is advising residents against moving found kittens, suggesting they are better off left in the care of their mothers for increased chances of survival.
Vehicle Strikes Train in Ogden, Leaving Two Workers Injured
In Ogden, a serious incident occurred when a vehicle collided with a train around 12:35 p.m. near 200 W. 30th Street. This collision resulted in injuries to two Union Pacific employees who were subsequently transported to a hospital for treatment. However, the conditions of the injured employees have not been disclosed. Currently, further details about the collision are unavailable.
