Attendees can look forward to an engaging history presentation, light refreshments, and a welcoming environment perfect for making new friends.

The event will take place on October 21 at 1:00 PM in Bountiful. The address will be provided upon request by messaging the organizer.

Whether you're a history buff or just looking to connect with others in the community, this is a great opportunity to learn, socialize, and enjoy an afternoon together.

From Bountiful to Broadway: Local Talent Max Cast in Wonder

Bountiful is beaming with pride as one of its own prepares to take center stage on Broadway. Max, a local resident, has been cast as Augie in the upcoming production of Wonder, bringing his talents to one of the world’s most prestigious theatrical stages.

Mayor Kendalyn Harris expressed heartfelt pride in seeing someone from Bountiful earn such an extraordinary opportunity.

Max’s journey from a small Utah town to the bright lights of Broadway has inspired many in the community, highlighting the importance of perseverance and passion in the pursuit of dreams. As he prepares to debut in Wonder, the entire city is cheering him on and wishing him success.

Missing Valuables at U of U Hospital ER Leave Patients Seeking Accountability

Several patients at the University of Utah Hospital ER have reported valuable items going missing during treatment. Cases include lost wedding rings and dentures. While the hospital claims to handle such incidents with care and urges patients to leave valuables at home, its limited compensation and lack of transparency have left some patients feeling dismissed. After media involvement, two patients saw progress in their cases, but one continues to wait for acknowledgment. The issue reflects a broader, nationwide problem of personal items disappearing in hospital settings.

⚽️ Stanford Shines as Farmington Rolls Past Skyridge in 6A Playoffs

Farmington High Girls Soccer Team delivered a dominant 4-0 win over Skyridge in the second round of the 6A state playoffs, powered by Oaklee Stanford’s standout performance. Stanford opened the scoring in the first half off a pass from Katie Bennett, then assisted goals by Macey Call and Taytem Grant to extend the lead.

Morgan Snell added an unassisted goal in the second half to cap off the scoring. Farmington’s defense, anchored by goalkeepers Abby Child and Olive Wayland, held strong to secure the shutout.

The win improves Farmington’s record to 12-6 and sends them to Thursday’s quarterfinals. Skyridge ends its season at 5-14.

🌿 Wellness Wednesday with Erin 🌿

🌿 The Power of the Pause

In our “always-on” world, the most overlooked wellness tool is often the simplest one — the pause.

Taking just 60 seconds to pause between tasks, meetings, or even sips of coffee gives your nervous system a reset. That small break lowers cortisol, steadies your breathing, and brings you back into the present moment — where calm, clarity, and creativity live.

 Wellness Tip:
Set a reminder on your phone every few hours to “pause and breathe.” Close your eyes, inhale deeply through your nose for 4 counts, hold for 4, and exhale for 6. It’s a mini nervous-system reboot that costs nothing but brings everything back into balance.

You’ll be surprised how much more grounded and focused you feel — body, mind, and spirit. 💜
