Community Gathers for Inside Out 2 at Bountiful Town Square This Saturday

Families are invited to enjoy a fun summer evening at Bountiful Town Square on Saturday, July 12, as the South Davis Recreation Center hosts its next installment of Summer Movie Nights. This week's featured film is the newly released Inside Out 2, a sequel filled with heart, humor, and a fresh emotional journey.

Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets to get comfortable under the stars. The movie will begin at dusk, making it a perfect night out for all ages. Attendees are welcome to arrive early to find a good spot and soak up the community atmosphere.

This event is part of an ongoing series by the South Davis Recreation Center aimed at bringing neighbors together for fun, free entertainment throughout the summer.

A Father’s Mission: Turning His Daughter’s Challenge Into Outdoor Freedom

A Logan father’s determination to include his daughter in outdoor adventures has grown into a global effort to improve accessibility. After learning that his daughter Luci might never walk due to a rare genetic disorder, LJ Wilde used his engineering skills to design a custom hiking wheelchair. What started as a garage project quickly gained attention on the trail, inspiring Wilde to leave his job and launch Huckleberry Hiking.

Now based in Logan, Utah, the company produces all-terrain hiking chairs using locally sourced materials. To date, the invention has helped more than 1,200 people in 23 countries enjoy the outdoors. Though the impact is global, Wilde’s motivation remains the joy of hiking alongside his daughter.
