🍎 Free Crepes for a Great Cause
Annie's Cafe in Bountiful is partnering with the Bountiful Food Pantry to help local students head back to school prepared. Beginning Thursday, July 30, through the end of August, anyone who donates new school supplies will receive a free Nutella banana crepe and lemonade as a thank-you for supporting the drive.
It's an easy way for South Davis families to help local kids get the supplies they need for the new school year while supporting a hometown business.
📚 Most-needed donations: New backpacks, notebooks, pencils, crayons, markers, folders, glue sticks, and other unopened school supplies.

🚸 Centerville Looking for School Crossing Guards
Centerville City is hiring substitute crossing guards for the 2026–27 school year. The part-time role helps students cross streets safely before and after school, with shifts lasting about 35 minutes on school days and pay starting at $18 per shift.
It's a flexible opportunity for local residents to earn extra income while helping keep Centerville students safe on their way to and from school.

🔥 Bride-to-Be Accused of Setting Fire at Kaysville Church Before Wedding
Police say a 25-year-old woman was arrested after allegedly setting a fire inside a Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints meetinghouse in Kaysville while preparing for her wedding, which was scheduled for the following day. The fire was quickly extinguished, no one was injured, and investigators estimate the damage at more than $100,000. The woman faces charges including aggravated arson, retail theft, and providing false information to police. 👉 Read More
