🧡 Free Dementia Workshop Offers Help for Family Caregivers

Davis County Health Department is hosting a free “Dealing with Dementia” workshop on Tuesday, Sept. 22, from 10 AM–2:30 PM at the Central Davis Senior Activity Center in Kaysville. The class will cover understanding dementia, managing difficult behaviors, handling stress, and making time for yourself. Registration is required, seating is limited, and lunch is provided.

💧 North Salt Lake Irrigation Water Shuts Off Early

North Salt Lake residents will need to wrap up their secondary watering a little earlier than usual this year.

Because of extremely dry conditions and low water supplies, the city says secondary irrigation water will be shut off for the season Tuesday, Sept. 15 — about a month earlier than normal.

Water providers throughout the region are shortening the irrigation season to conserve remaining reservoir supplies, and the city is asking residents to plan ahead and begin reducing outdoor watering as temperatures cool.👉 Read More

North Salt Lake’s NSL Nights Out returns to Legacy Park tonight with its Bolder Way Forward/Ladies Night theme, held alongside Monday’s Food Truck Night.

Farmington picked up a big home win Friday night, defeating Woods Cross 41–17.

The victory moves the Phoenix to 2–3 on the season, while the Wildcats are also 2–3 heading into this week.

Next up, Woods Cross heads to Bountiful Friday night for a local Region 6 rivalry matchup, while Farmington travels to Weber.

🚨 Davis County’s Emergency Preparedness Fair is coming to Western Sports Park in Farmington on Saturday, Sept. 26, from 9 AM–4 PM. The free, family-friendly event will feature hands-on activities, emergency vehicles, local agencies, classes, speakers, and practical preparedness tips for all ages.
