🐶 Free Dog Nail Trims Highlight Scenthound's First Birthday Celebration
Scenthound Bountiful is celebrating its first birthday TOMORROW, Saturday Aug. 1, from 9 AM to 2 PM with a community party featuring FREE dog nail trimming, plus games, prizes, treats, and family-friendly fun. The event takes place at 2200 S. Orchard Dr. and is open to local dog owners looking to treat their four-legged friends. The Bountiful location opened last year with a focus on routine dog wellness and hygiene, making this milestone a chance to thank the community for its support.
Professional nail trims are one of the most commonly skipped parts of dog care, so this is an easy way for local pet owners to help keep their pups healthy—at no cost.
🏅 Former Viewmont Wrestling Standout Honored
A hometown wrestling legend is receiving one of Utah's highest athletic honors. Former Viewmont High School star Ben Kjar has been selected for induction into the Utah Sports Hall of Fame, recognizing both his remarkable wrestling career and the perseverance that has inspired athletes across the state. Participants will attend cheer clinics on August 5–6, then perform and cheer at the August 7 football game. Campers will learn crowd-leading skills, perform a fun dance with poms, cheer alongside the BHS team, and take the field for a halftime performance.
