Ensuring a Safe and Spooky Halloween: Tips for Parents with Trick-or-Treating Kids

To ensure a safe and enjoyable Halloween, especially for trick-or-treaters, follow these key tips:

- Children under 12 should be accompanied by an adult. Older kids going alone should stay in familiar areas, have a curfew, and not enter strangers' homes.

- Make sure costumes are visible. Add reflective tape, use glow sticks, and carry flashlights.

- Choose comfortable, safe costumes with good visibility. Avoid obstructive masks, ensure proper fit, and prepare for weather conditions.

- Teach kids to use sidewalks, cross carefully, and walk, not run.

- Adults should inspect all candy, checking for recognized brands and intact packaging, and watch out for choking hazards.

Community members can contribute to safety by driving cautiously, keeping their homes well-lit for trick-or-treaters, and checking the treats they hand out. Let's aim for a memorable and secure Halloween celebration. 🎃👻 🎃👻

BYU’s Colorful Wardrobe: Exciting New Uniforms for Match Against West Virginia

BYU football is set to debut a new uniform for their game against West Virginia, featuring all-white jerseys with royal trim and a unique facemask color. 2023 has seen BYU embrace fashion, showcasing a different uniform for each game, including various color combinations and even a new navy helmet. Despite this variety, there's debate over maintaining tradition versus innovation, as BYU's classic royal uniforms are iconic. As the season continues, it's uncertain how BYU will balance their diverse wardrobe with traditional looks, but fans can expect a visual treat in each game.
