Led by the incredible Dr. Melissa Mills and Mrs. Barbara Gill, this auditioned group for ages 8–14 offers top-tier choral training in sacred music—everything from the timeless beauty of Mozart to the uplifting harmonies of modern hymns. Rehearsals are filled with purpose and joy, as kids grow in confidence, artistry, and lasting friendship.

From Parade to Performance: Shrek the Musical Delivers Heart and Humor

The Hopebox Theatre’s Shrek the Musical cast brought energy and joy to the Farmington Parade, delighting the crowd in full costume. The event highlighted the theatre’s mission to provide hope and healing through performance, with each production dedicated to someone affected by cancer. The show is now running, and tickets are available online.

Applause for Mrs. C: Teacher of the Year Surprise

Woods Cross High School’s Mrs. C was awarded Teacher of the Year by the Utah Advisory Council of Theatre Teachers during a conference in Cedar City. She was nominated by a fellow teacher and surprised with touching video messages from her students. The award celebrates her outstanding contribution to theatre education.

85 Rescued Cats from Texas Floods Arrive at Utah Shelter

Eighty-five cats rescued from severe flooding in central Texas have arrived at the Best Friends Animal Society in Salt Lake City. The animals are receiving care and will soon be available for adoption or fostering. The mission, coordinated by Best Friends and Wings of Rescue, helps ease overcrowding in Texas shelters and makes room for reuniting lost pets with their owners.
