Hey ALL! We are reaching out with an exciting opportunity to become a host family for Internexus Homestay, a program dedicated to providing foreign students with an immersive cultural and linguistic experience. 🌟

Internexus Homestay places students in homes to experience the culture, immerse themselves in the English language, and build lasting relationships with their host families. We are currently seeking host families for students arriving from Taiwan between June 24th and July 14th. We specifically need homes for 6 sets of girls and 3 sets of boys, as well as a home for the program director and his wife from July 3rd to 10th.

Hosting foreign students is a wonderful way to share cultural experiences, create lasting friendships, and make a positive impact on a young person’s life. Here’s how you can help:

Details for Hosting:

- Arrival and Departure: Students arrive on June 24th around will need to be picked up at the airport at 4:30 PM and depart on July 14th at 8:00 AM from the Ballpark Trax Station. 🛬🚌 (*All the details will be given to you as a host family)

- Accommodation Needs: 

- 6 homes for girl/girl pairs. 👭

- 3 homes for boy/boy pairs. 👬

- 1 home for the director and his wife. 👫

- Student Daily Routine:

- Classes at the University of Utah start at 9:00 AM and end around 1:00 PM, followed by cultural immersion activities until approximately 5:00 PM. 🎒🏫

- Students will use the UTA bus service, with the 455 bus being ideal for Davis County residents. 🚌

- Host Family Responsibilities:

- Provide a fully furnished room with linens. 🛏️🛋️

- Cover food costs - just including them in your regular family meals - (students can pack a sack lunch for their class days). 🍎🥪

- Include students in family activities, with a stipend of $28.57 per night per student to help with costs. 🎉

- If students choose to go out with friends, they will cover their own expenses. 💸
