Traffic Alert: Lane Closure on Hwy 89 in North Salt Lake This Wednesday

Drivers in North Salt Lake should be prepared for a temporary lane closure on Wednesday, March 12, 2025. The right southbound lane of Highway 89 near 200 South will be closed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. as crews work to replace a fire hydrant.

The closure is expected to last approximately six hours, but could extend if unforeseen issues arise. Motorists are advised to plan for potential delays and use caution when traveling through the area.

North Salt Lake’s New HOTWORX Offers Free Workout & Wellness Event

HOTWORX has officially opened its doors in North Salt Lake, right next to Lee’s Marketplace, and is kicking things off with a special community event. The “B12 + Besties” event, set for Saturday, March 29, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., offers a chance for both members and newcomers to experience a HOTWORX workout while receiving a free B12 shot to boost energy and wellness.

Current members are encouraged to bring a friend for a workout session, while those new to HOTWORX can try out a class at no cost. The event is designed to showcase the infrared workout experience while promoting health and fitness within the community.

Victims Say Spiritual Healer Kept Their Money and Jewelry

A Utah woman has been charged with theft and fraud after allegedly promising spiritual healing services but failing to deliver. Prosecutors say she accepted money and jewelry, claiming she would bless them, but never returned the items. Victims reported the scam, leading to criminal charges. Officials encourage others who may have been affected to come forward.
