Local Area Residents join Utah Donation Effort for California Fire Victims

Bountiful Area residents are rallying together to support families impacted by California's devastating wildfires. Local truck driver Nathan Hess is leading a mission to fill a 53-foot semi-truck with essential supplies like hygiene items, baby products, and pet necessities. Donations can be dropped off at Annie's Café in Bountiful (74 W 500 S) by Tuesday evening, as the truck heads out Wednesday morning.

This heartfelt effort is about more than just supplies—it’s a chance to bring hope and compassion to those who have lost so much. Every contribution, big or small, makes a difference. Let’s come together to show our support! ❤️

Need a Break? Poppy’s Playhouse Hosts “Date Night” for Kids and Parents Alike

Hey Parents in Bountiful looking for a well-deserved break can take advantage of an exciting opportunity at Poppy's Playhouse! On Thursday, January 25th, Poppy's is hosting a "Date Night" event, giving parents the chance to enjoy an evening to themselves while their children have a blast in a fun, safe, and engaging environment.

The event runs from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and is open to children of all ages. Pricing is set at $45 for children under two years old or still in diapers, $35 for kids over two and potty-trained, and just $15 for siblings. Davis County's Code Blue Warming Center has reopened in a new Clearfield location to provide overnight shelter for people experiencing homelessness. The center has expanded its services to meet increasing demand, and county leaders aim to balance community concerns with the urgent need for support.
