Score Rare Finds & Freebies at Thriftpalooza in Farmington This April

One of Northern Utah's largest vintage and thrifting events, Thriftpalooza, is set to return on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at Western Sports Park in Farmington. With 50 vendors, including local businesses, shoppers can browse a variety of vintage clothing, shoes, jewelry, collectibles, and unique one-of-a-kind items.

Adding to the experience, the Bad Humor Meat and Cheese Co. food truck will be on-site, serving up delicious eats. The event runs from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., with free admission and parking. Plus, the first 50 attendees will receive a free tote bag.

The venue, formerly known as Legacy Events Center, is located at 151 S 1100 W, Farmington, just south of Station Park. For updates and more information, follow @thriftpalooza_utah on Instagram.

Utah’s Skies Welcome Air Taxis in Landmark Demonstration Tour

Utah is hosting a statewide demonstration of electric air taxis, showcasing their potential to improve urban mobility. These eVTOL aircraft, which are electric-powered and emissions-free, could help reduce congestion and provide faster transportation options. The tour allows officials and residents to observe the technology firsthand and evaluate infrastructure needs. While commercial use is still years away, the demonstrations represent a step toward integrating air taxis into Utah’s transportation system.

Saturn's rings will disappear from view for a short time as we observe them edge-on from Earth!

 March 29 | Partial Solar Eclipse

The Moon will cover up to 93% of the Sun at its peak!

This eclipse will last nearly four hours, starting at 4:51 AM EDT, and will be visible from parts of the Americas, Europe, and Africa.

 April 22 | Lyrid Meteor Shower

A dazzling meteor shower producing 10-15 meteors per hour!

Since the radiant rises before midnight, try spotting meteors before the fat crescent Moon rises after midnight.

April 25 | Triple Conjunction – A Smiley Face in the Sky
