Bringing Nutrition Right to Your Doorstep
In the heart of our bustling community, a new venture has emerged that promises to revolutionize the way we think about pet nutrition. PET WANTS NORTH SALT LAKE, owned and operated by local entrepreneur Todd Call, is not just a businessโit's a mission to ensure every pet enjoys the freshest, most nutritious meals possible.
From Office to Entrepreneurship
Todd Call's journey from a routine office job at Hill AFB to launching PET WANTS is a tale of rediscovery and passion. Leaving behind the unfulfilling predictability of his previous employment, Todd ventured back into the entrepreneurial world, leveraging his past experience and a keen desire not to repeat beginner's mistakes. Choosing PET WANTS was more than a business decisionโit was a step towards making a meaningful difference in pets' and pet owners' lives.
Why PET WANTS?
What sets PET WANTS NORTH SALT LAKE apart? It's all about freshness, quality, and personalized service. Unlike standard pet food that might sit on shelves for months, PET WANTS' food is made in small batches eight times a year, using only the finest ingredients. This ensures every bag delivered to your doorstep is packed with maximum nutrition and flavorโsomething Todd believes every pet deserves.
A Personal Touch
Todd's commitment to the community and every pet owner's needs is unparalleled. Recognizing the unique concerns and preferences of pets and their owners, he offers more than just food. From addressing food sensitivities to recommending the perfect chew or supplement, Todd is ready to work with you to tailor the best nutritional plan for your furry family members.
Convenience Delivered
Understanding the value of your time, PET WANTS NORTH SALT LAKE emphasizes convenience without compromising on quality. With Todd's mobile service, premium pet nutrition is just a call or click away, freeing up your schedule to enjoy more of those irreplaceable moments with your pets.
Catch Us Around Town
Eager to bring this innovative approach to more pet owners, PET WANTS is hitting the road! Follow their journey on Facebook and Instagram to find out when they'll be at the Riverdale and Roy Farmers markets starting in May. It's a fantastic opportunity to meet Todd, learn about the products, and become part of a growing community of informed and caring pet owners.

Join the Movement
As PET WANTS NORTH SALT LAKE celebrates its inaugural year, the excitement is just beginning. To learn more, explore their offerings, or join the PET WANTS family, visit PetWantsNorthSaltLake.com and follow their journey on Facebook and Instagram.

Young Horse Lovers Invited to Special Barrel Racing Event This Weekend
This Saturday (tomorrow) promises an unforgettable experience for young equestrian enthusiasts at the Davis Agricultural Heritage Center in Kaysville. The Utah Cowgirl Collective, along with a group of local cowgirls, will be showcasing their barrel racing talents in a special event aimed at supporting the Utah Food Bank. Attendees are encouraged to bring canned food donations as they enjoy the thrilling display of equestrian skills. Set against the backdrop of the scenic 788 South 50 West location, this event offers a unique opportunity for children fascinated by horses to get up close with these majestic animals and learn more about the sport. The initiative not only aims to fuel the passion of horse-loving youngsters but also to give back to the community by aiding those in need.

๐ฉ๐ปโ๐ป Tech Hers Event Empowers Girls to Break Stereotypes and Embrace Tech Careers
The "Tech Hers" event, organized by the Davis School District, aims to keep girls engaged in technology by challenging the stereotype that tech careers are predominantly for boys. This initiative, hosted at the Davis Catalyst Center, a magnet school offering a wide range of courses for high school students, brought together younger students to learn about drones, construction, and graphic design from their older peers. Highlighting women in significant tech roles in Utah, the event encouraged girls in fifth through eighth grade to envision themselves in tech careers, breaking the traditional gender norms associated with these fields. The hope is that by demonstrating women's success in these areas, girls will feel empowered to pursue their interests in technology and innovation. This was the first occurrence of the event, with aspirations to continue fostering this empowering environment for young girls in the future.

๐ฅ High-Speed Pursuit of Robbery Suspects Leads to Fiery Scene Near I-15
A delivery driver's intervention in the attempted theft of his vehicle led to a high-speed chase near I-15, resulting in the suspect's vehicle overturning and catching fire. Police detained one suspect while others fled, emphasizing the danger of pursuing criminals and advising the public to report incidents to law enforcement.

๐ Utah Jazz Misses Playoffs, But Sexton Plays On With Heart
Following the Utah Jazz's exclusion from the postseason, Collin Sexton's enthusiasm for the game persists. Despite the team's standings, Sexton, who has faced challenges with injuries in the past, remains committed to participating in every game, reflecting his unwavering dedication to basketball and serving as an inspiration to both teammates and fans.
