Clearfield High School's Life-Saving Lessons Empower Students as Community Protectors

Students at Clearfield High School have taken a significant step towards becoming everyday heroes by learning life-saving skills such as the Heimlich maneuver, CPR, and AED usage. Led by Davis School District Nurse Erik Rodgers, who has nearly two decades of experience, the program equips students with the knowledge and confidence to act in emergencies. Rodgers emphasizes the importance of readiness and quick action in medical crises, encouraging students to be proactive in saving lives.

Silent Disco and Spirit Squad Light Up the 2024 Davis Chamber Business Expo

The 2024 Davis Chamber Business Expo concluded with great success, highlighted by a kick-off party with a Silent Disco, a performance by Weber State University Spirit Squad, and multiple giveaways. The event, the largest of its kind to date, was supported significantly by sponsors such as America First Credit Union and Cache Valley Bank among others. The Davis Chamber of Commerce is already eagerly planning for next year’s event, hoping to replicate this year's success.

🏐 Region 5 Volleyball Heats Up as Bountiful High Leads the Pack

The Region 5 boys volleyball scene continues to be dominated by Bountiful High, which remains undefeated in league play following a series of recent matches. Bountiful's volleyball team demonstrated resilience and skill, overcoming tough opponents including Box Elder and Orem, before achieving a clean sweep against Woods Cross. Meanwhile, other schools like Viewmont and Farmington also notched up victories, contributing to a highly competitive season.

Under the guidance of Coach Sarah Chism, Bountiful has displayed impressive teamwork and strategic play, keeping them in a leading position both regionally and statewide. The team's performance highlights their consistent training and focus, aiming to maintain their top form as the season progresses.
