The city's Parks and Recreation Department proudly supports outdoor activities by providing comprehensive resources for enthusiasts.

Farmington is promoting outdoor activities through its Parks and Recreation Department by offering easy access to local trails and open spaces near the mountains. This initiative aims to encourage exploration and enjoyment of the city’s natural surroundings.

Support and Learn: National Small Business Week Activities at Davis Tech BRC

KAYSVILLE – On May 1st, the Davis Tech Business Resource Center (BRC) will host a special event in celebration of National Small Business Week. This engaging occasion will take place at the Davis Tech Rotunda, located at 550 E 300 S. Kaysville, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

The event aims to spotlight local entrepreneurs and provide attendees with an opportunity to learn about the resources available through the BRC. A highlight of the day will be a panel discussion featuring local small business owners, scheduled from 11:00 to 11:40 AM, where they will share insights into their paths to success.

Additionally, a vendor fair will allow local businesses to showcase their products and services, offering a unique chance for networking and support. Attendees are also invited to tour the facilities of the Business Resource Center to better understand how it supports local commerce.

Participants will have the opportunity to register for a chance to win one of three prize baskets, each generously donated by local businesses. Refreshments will be available throughout the event, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable experience for all.

Miracle Cat Survives Unplanned Trip from Utah to California in Amazon Box

A cat from Utah named Galena endured an unintended journey to California after being accidentally shipped in an Amazon return box. The cat, which was missing for a week, survived six days without sustenance in the box. An Amazon worker discovered and cared for the cat, leading to a reunion with its owners, who highlighted the critical role of Galena's microchip and the rescuer's timely intervention in ensuring the cat's safety.
