🚸 Bountiful Police Clarify Main Street Stops
Bountiful Police are clarifying how officers are enforcing stop-line and crosswalk rules on Main Street after recent citations sparked questions from drivers. Police say drivers must stop at the marked line and avoid moving into a crosswalk or intersection in a way that blocks pedestrians, cyclists, or traffic.
Police say the added attention follows a recent pedestrian fatality and multiple bicycle crashes on Main Street, with enforcement focused on keeping the roadway safer for everyone.

🔥 Rocky Canyon Fire Reaches 85% Containment
The Rocky Canyon Fire has reached 85% containment after burning 16,464 acres in Morgan and Summit counties. Evacuation orders have been lifted, and Highways 65 and 66 are open again, though some recreation areas near the burn scar remain closed.
After weeks of smoke and flames visible from Bountiful, the improved containment is welcome news for South Davis residents.
