🚴 Mayor Leading Community Bike Ride to Elephant Rock
Bountiful Mayor Kate Bradshaw is inviting residents to join her this Friday for a community bike ride to Elephant Rock as part of the city's Red, White & Move program. The ride will be a relaxed "party pace" with plenty of breaks, making it accessible for a wide range of riders. Participants can also earn points through the community fitness challenge.
It's a fun opportunity for residents to get active, connect with neighbors, and enjoy one of Bountiful's popular outdoor destinations alongside city leadership.

A familiar Main Street business is celebrating a well-deserved honor.
Classy Chassis Beauty in Bountiful has been named the Gold Winner for Best Beauty Supply Store in the 2026 Best of SLC Awards, a community-voted program recognizing outstanding businesses across the Salt Lake Valley.
Owner Angela and her team were recently recognized at the awards ceremony, earning top honors in their category. The award reflects the strong reputation Classy Chassis has built through years of serving customers with professional beauty products, expert advice, salon services, and exceptional customer care.

🐶 Check Your Dog's Coat This Week
As temperatures rise and more families spend time outdoors, now is a great time to add a quick flea and tick check to your dog's routine.
At Scenthound Bountiful, we've recently seen an unexpected increase in flea and tick cases after going nearly 10 months without encountering any. Dogs can pick up fleas or ticks during neighborhood walks, visits to local parks, hikes, or even while playing in their own backyard.
Take a few minutes each day to inspect your dog's coat, especially around the ears, neck, underarms, belly, and between the toes. Look for small dark insects, black specks that resemble pepper, or attached ticks.
Early detection can prevent a minor issue from becoming a major infestation. If you spot fleas or ticks, contact your veterinarian and begin treatment as soon as possible.

The Woods Cross High School Theater Department is hosting a “Heroes & Villains” themed theater camp for incoming 1st–9th graders. Kids will enjoy theater games, songs, and scenes while building confidence and creativity. Cost is $60 and includes a camp t-shirt. Register by May 19 to guarantee a spot and shirt.
