Primordial at Lagoon Wins USA Today's Top New Theme Park Attraction of 2024
Lagoon's newest sensation, Primordial, has been crowned as the top New Theme Park Attraction of 2024 by USA Today's acclaimed 10 Best travel awards. This accolade follows a meticulous nomination by an expert panel at USA Today. Primordial stands out as a cutting-edge, unparalleled 3D interactive ride, boasting industry-first features. The ride's development, initiated in 2015, spanned eight years, culminating in a world-record-breaking tallest vertical drop track and offering eight distinct outcomes. The entire experience lasts nearly five minutes, surpassing Lagoon's Cannibal ride in duration. Primordial welcomes riders of various ages, with a minimum height requirement of 36 inches and the stipulation that guests between 36 and 48 inches must have a supervising companion.
Lagoon, celebrated as America's largest family-owned amusement park, marks its 138th year of providing family entertainment. The park features over 55 rides, the Lagoon A Beach waterpark, the historical Pioneer Village, a luxurious campground, a Biergarten, and various live performances.
