Wash up everyone! In our local area, the norovirus, often known as the stomach bug, is spreading rapidly, just as the holiday season peaks. Characterized by severe symptoms such as vomiting, diarrhea, and stomach aches, the illness is highly contagious, yet typically short-lived, lasting only a day or two. Health officials stress the importance of rigorous handwashing and cleaning of surfaces, as the virus is resilient against hand sanitizers. Amidst festive gatherings, they advise those who are sick to maintain distance to prevent widespread contagion.

In a delightful revelation fitting for the festive season, Utah residents have overwhelmingly chosen the classic holiday film "Home Alone" as their favorite Christmas movie. The report, collated from a variety of movie ratings and viewing statistics across the state, underscores the enduring appeal of the 1990 comedy starring Macaulay Culkin as the clever and mischievous Kevin McCallister.
As families gathered to celebrate the holidays, many turned to this beloved film as a source of laughter and holiday cheer. Farmington City Lights Up with 'Legally Blonde Jr.' Production!
Farmington City is excited to announce auditions for "Legally Blonde Jr." directed by Avery Nobles. Auditions are scheduled for January 4 & 6 with callbacks by invitation on January 9. Rehearsals are on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, with a mandatory parent meeting on January 11. The production runs from February 28 to March 2, 2024, and tickets go on sale on February 1. Aspiring young actors are encouraged to audition with a prepared Broadway song and adhere to the Farmington Theater Etiquette Guidelines for a successful and enjoyable theater experience.

Davis County Launches Inspiring Adult Education Classes for Winter 2024
Davis County's Adult Education program is set to begin its new session in mid-to-late January, offering a rich variety of classes including health and wellness topics like microgreens cultivation, sleep improvement, overcoming mental health challenges, and herbalism. The initiative aims to foster community learning and personal growth with courses available for all ages, including ACT Prep and special winter classes. Enthusiastic local experts will lead the sessions, encouraging residents to embrace lifelong learning and self-improvement.
