The teacher has since resigned and faces a misdemeanor charge tied to the March incident. Parents say they weren’t informed until days later and are raising concerns about oversight, especially for nonverbal special needs students.
Why It Matters: Families with vulnerable students rely on timely communication and trust—this incident is raising serious questions about both.

🎶 Music in the Park needs sponsors
Bountiful’s free Music in the Park concert series is looking for sponsors to help cover costs. Organizers say the popular summer event has been running for 17 years, and both business sponsors and personal donations are being encouraged. Interested businesses or residents can reach out via Messenger for sponsorship details or use the city’s donation link.
