๐Ÿ‚ Bountifulโ€™s Bagged-Leaf Pickup Starts After Veterans Day

Bountifulโ€™s Streets Department will start collecting bagged leaves after Veterans Day and continue until the first snowfall as crews have time. Bag your leaves and set them at the curb. For pickup questions, call 801-298-6175. Bagging leaves keeps them out of storm drains and off streets where wet leaves can make the pavement slick. ๐Ÿ‘‰ Read More

๐Ÿˆ Bountiful and Woods Cross Play for a Semifinal Spot

Bountiful hosts Springville at 5 PM tonight, and Woods Cross travels to Alta for a 6 PM kickoff. The Redhawks have won eight straight, while the Wildcats get another shot at Alta after a 27โ€“21 loss in September.

A win sends either team to the 5A semifinals, and Redhawks fans can catch their quarterfinal right here in Bountiful.

๐ŸŠ Seven Local Swimmers to Watch This Season

Seven swimmers from Viewmont, Bountiful, Woods Cross, and Farmington made the Deseret News list of top returners for the 2026โ€“27 season. Viewmont senior Thomas Chamberlain appears in seven events, including the 100 butterfly, where he swam a 50.51 at last seasonโ€™s 5A state meet.

Viewmont teammate John Paul Decker made the list in the 100 breaststroke. Bountifulโ€™s Henry Long and Woods Crossโ€™s Ava Glissmeyer each earned spots in three events, including the 100 backstroke. Farmingtonโ€™s Elsie Crowell is listed in the 200 individual medley and 100 backstroke, Jack Smart in the 50 and 100 freestyle, and Jacie Nielson in the 100 breaststroke.

With swimmers to watch at all four local high schools, thereโ€™s plenty to follow from the first meets through state. ๐Ÿ‘‰ Read More

๐Ÿพ Meet Moki, a sweet girl whose family found her as a stray in Hanksville while traveling home from Lake Powell.

They brought her home and named her after one of their favorite canyons at the lake! ๐Ÿœ๏ธ

Moki has a few adorable talents. Whenever her dad sneezes, she comes running to check on him. She also remembers every tree where sheโ€™s spotted a squirrel and stops to investigate each one on her walks. ๐Ÿฟ๏ธ

A big fan of pup cups, Moki believes every drive-thru visit should include a treat for her. And when it comes to puzzle toys? Her family hasnโ€™t found one that can stump her yet! ๐Ÿงฉ

Moki, weโ€™re so glad that road trip led you to your forever family! ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿพ
