โญLocal Business Spotlight Feature:

In the heart of our community lies a gem where the spirit of family and a passion for all things country thrive โ Rockin' E Country Store & Garden Center. Stepping into Rockin' E is like entering a world where quality products, warm service, and the beauty of rural living converge. Let's take a closer look at what makes this local treasure shine!
A Family Affair:
For Megan Hogan, the dedicated Store Manager who grew up amidst the aisles of Rockin' E, this isn't just a job; it's a legacy. With her parents founding the store 21 years ago, Megan's childhood memories are woven with the fabric of Rockin' E. Now, alongside her husband and daughter, she carries on the tradition of providing top-notch service and a curated selection of goods.
Roots and Growth:
What started as a humble endeavor to serve the local farming community has blossomed into a multifaceted establishment. Initially catering to the needs of livestock owners, Rockin' E evolved to meet the demands of a changing landscape. The addition of greenhouses brought forth a haven for garden enthusiasts, transforming the store into a one-stop destination for all things home and garden.
A Harvest of Offerings:
At Rockin' E, diversity is the name of the game. From IFA lawn fertilizers to springtime chicks, every corner holds a delightful surprise. Customers can peruse through an array of home dรฉcor, men's and children's clothing, and a bounty of gardening essentials. Not to mention, the expertise of their very own Utah Certified Nursery Professional, Debbie West, adds a personalized touch to every visit.

Community at its Core:
Beyond being a retail hub, Rockin' E is deeply ingrained in the community's fabric. Their calendar is peppered with events that bring families together, from the beloved Pumpkin-Palooza to seasonal workshops and local vendor showcases. It's not just about transactions here; it's about fostering connections and creating memories.
Looking Ahead:
Exciting things are sprouting at Rockin' E! With pre-made Spring Planters orders available and Spring Pot workshops on the horizon, there's never been a better time to embrace the joys of gardening. Plus, their commitment to supporting local artisans shines through partnerships with vendors like Salsa de Mendoza and Bear Naked Body Care.

Severe Winds Forecast to Hit Northern Utah, Travel Warnings Issued
Northern Utah faces severe wind conditions with gusts over 60 mph, posing travel hazards and the risk of power outages. The Utah Department of Transportation issued alerts for hazardous travel, particularly for high-profile vehicles. Schools and power companies are preparing for potential impacts, with residents advised to secure emergency supplies.

Turning the Tide: Strategic Efforts to Boost Great Salt Lake Levels
The Great Salt Lake is anticipated to experience a rise in levels this spring, backed by a comprehensive five-year plan unveiled by the Great Salt Lake Watershed Enhancement Trust. This strategy, developed in collaboration with the National Audubon Society and The Nature Conservancy, aims to acquire around 100,000 acre-feet of water and rehabilitate or safeguard at least 20,000 acres of nearby wetlands. Efforts include improving water flow issues and optimizing state funding to sustain the lake's ecosystem, focusing on habitat restoration and invasive species management.

Utahns United Against Hunger: Participate in the Feed Utah Drive This Saturday
This Saturday, the Utah Food Bank hosts the "Feed Utah" food drive, a critical event aimed at collecting food donations to support the needy. Amid high living costs, this drive represents a collective effort by communities across Utah to address food insecurity. Participants can help by donating food, volunteering, or providing financial support. Governor Spencer Cox advocates for community involvement, highlighting its role in fostering a caring and supportive society.
