Official Welcome to Council Member Millicent Bahr
Bountiful City proudly welcomed Council Member Millicent Bahr back to the dais last night as she was officially sworn in to serve a two-year term on the City Council. Surrounded by her family, the moment was made even more special by the presence of little Annie, who briefly joined her mom on the dais—offering a heartwarming glimpse into the family spirit behind public service.
The Bahr children have grown noticeably since Millie last served, and we're excited to have another generation of "council kiddos" around as part of the Bountiful community. Public service is often a family effort, and we deeply appreciate the support and sacrifices that come with it.
Here’s to the work ahead—welcome (back) to the team, Council Member Bahr!

Heads Up Centerville
In Centerville City, Utah, a new traffic update brings partial relief for local drivers. The intersection at 400 East and 400 South has officially reopened for east-west travel, easing some of the congestion in the area. While this section is now accessible, crews remain active in the southern portion of the project zone, prompting updated detours to keep vehicles moving safely around ongoing construction. City officials thank residents and commuters for their continued patience as the infrastructure improvements move forward.

Bountiful’s Fast Start Keys 79-51 Win Over Viewmont in Region Matchup
Bountiful jumped out to a commanding start and never looked back in a 79-51 win over Viewmont in Region 6 play. The Redhawks built a 29-13 lead in the first quarter, setting the pace early.
Lincoln Smith led the way with 32 points, including six 3-pointers. Wyatt Crane added 16 points with four triples, and Davey Howe chipped in 15.
Viewmont saw bright spots despite the deficit. Tyson Bromley scored 11 points, while Brett Tovey added nine with three 3-pointers. The Vikings kept competing in the second half but couldn’t close the early gap.
The win strengthens Bountiful’s position in the region, while Viewmont looks to rebound in its next matchup.

🌿 Wellness Wednesday with Erin 🌿
🌿 A Clean Slate for Your Soul
A new season — or even a new week — is a powerful invitation to pause and ask:
What am I ready to release?
Erin Ottley often reminds us that wellness isn’t just about adding more habits. Sometimes, it’s about letting go — old stories, emotional weight, or patterns that no longer serve us.
✨ Today’s gentle reflection:
Take a quiet moment and ask yourself:
What feels heavy right now?
What am I holding onto that I’m ready to release?
What do I want to make space for instead?
When we release the past with compassion, we open our hearts to clarity, healing, and the energy we want to carry forward.
A clean slate doesn’t mean forgetting the past — it means honoring it, healing it, and choosing what comes next. 🌱
