Blossoms Across Utah: Where to Catch Spring in Full Bloom

Each spring, Utah bursts into bloom with cherry blossoms adorning some of the state’s most scenic locations. The Utah State Capitol stands out as a centerpiece, offering a circular walking path beneath blossoming trees, open green spaces for picnics, and educational memorials to explore. Visitors can also tour the Capitol building for a deeper dive into the state’s history. Other prime blossom spots include Temple Square, the dramatic orchards of Capitol Reef National Park, and local fruit farms like Manning Orchards in Fruit Heights and Smith’s Orchard in Provo—each providing a unique backdrop for spring outings and seasonal photography.

North Salt Lake Encourages Residents to Explore Town Through Little Free Library Scavenger Hunt

North Salt Lake is hosting a Little Free Library scavenger hunt, encouraging residents to find 11 libraries around town and take selfies at each one. Participants who complete the challenge can attend an event at City Hall on April 1st at 7 p.m., where they’ll receive a prize and take a photo with the Mayor. The initiative promotes reading, arts, and community engagement.

🥍 High School Lacrosse Kicks Off with Grit, Growth, and Unpredictable Skies

Davis County high school lacrosse teams faced both tough opponents and challenging weather during the preseason. Farmington and Davis High posted early wins, while Bountiful, Clearfield, and Woods Cross experienced mixed results. As region play approaches, teams are focused on building chemistry and momentum despite unpredictable spring conditions.
