Search Intensifies for Elderly West Bountiful Woman Missing Since April 8

The community of West Bountiful, Utah, is anxiously searching for 80-year-old Kay Prince Vest, missing since April 8, 2024, and last seen possibly in Idaho. Known for her kindness and battling dementia, Vest's disappearance has prompted a Silver Alert. Her car was mistakenly identified in Idaho, compounding concerns over her safety. Friends describe her as a cherished presence, and police are calling for public assistance in locating her.

Vest was last seen driving her 2017 silver Toyota Camry, license plate number W365U. Anyone with information is encouraged to call 911.

Farmington Moves Forward with New Residential Development After Public Persuasion

Jared Erickson successfully obtained approval from the Farmington City Council to rezone his property for residential development after addressing several concerns. These included the preservation of existing trees and the construction of a high wall for privacy. The resolution came after community input highlighted the importance of these features, facilitating a compromise that includes a landscaped buffer zone.
