Salty Clay Unveils New Name and Studio Expansion at 10-Year Celebration

Salty Clay, formerly Hands on Art, is celebrating over 10 years in business with a new name, expanded space, and a community event on June 10th at 5:30 pm. The rebranding includes a new Pottery Wheel Studio, enhanced amenities, and a welcoming space for women’s classes and gatherings. The celebration offers free art activities, local prizes, and special promotions, inviting the community to experience the studio’s fresh new chapter.

Treat Dad to a Magical Night: Antelope by Moonlight Bike Ride Returns

If you’re searching for a unique, last-minute Father’s Day gift, look no further than the return of the Antelope by Moonlight Bike Ride — one of Davis County’s most beloved summer traditions.

This year’s ride invites participants to pedal through the scenic beauty of Antelope Island beneath a starlit sky, with a whimsical theme inspired by the magical Land of Oz. Riders are encouraged to embrace the festive atmosphere with costumes, glowing bike lights, and plenty of family-friendly fun.

The event offers an unforgettable experience for dads and families alike, making it a perfect gift that goes beyond the ordinary.

Those interested in taking advantage of discounted early bird pricing should act fast — registration at the reduced rate ends on June 14. Whether signing up for Dad or the whole family, this is one ride you won’t want to miss.

Wrong-Way DUI Crash on I-15 Leads to Charges for 69-Year-Old Farmington Man

A 69-year-old man is facing charges after allegedly driving drunk and causing a wrong-way crash on I-15 in Farmington. The driver, Hidajet Fajic, reportedly collided with another vehicle while traveling north in the southbound lanes. Both Fajic and the other vehicle’s occupants were hospitalized. Authorities say Fajic admitted to drinking whiskey before driving and tested positive for alcohol.

🔥 Utah Wildfire Season Intensifies with 14 New Fires Over Weekend

Utah saw 14 new wildfires from Friday to Monday amid an already active fire season. So far this year, 254 wildfires have burned over 10,500 acres statewide. Recent incidents include a lightning-sparked fire in Ashley National Forest and a West Haven grass fire that trapped two women and their children. Officials urge residents to clear defensible space around homes and use fire responsibly as conditions continue to worsen.
