Bountiful Police Seek Stolen Motorcycle and Suspect in Backyard Theft
Bountiful detectives are asking for the publicβs help in locating a stolen motorcycle and identifying the person responsible for the theft. The motorcycle, a Coleman BT200X Tote Goat, features distinctive red fenders and an aftermarket blue exhaust pipe, making it easily recognizable.
According to authorities, the bike was taken from the victimβs backyard, and the suspect fled the scene without being identified. Investigators are now working to gather any information that could lead to the recovery of the motorcycle and the apprehension of the thief.
Anyone who may have seen the motorcycle or has details about the incident is urged to contact Bountiful Detectives.

South Davis Recreation Center Extends Open Plunge Hours for Fall Break Fun
Families staying local for Fall Break can make a splash at the South Davis Recreation Center, where Open Plunge swimming hours will begin earlier than usual during the holiday week. This temporary schedule adjustment is designed to give residents more opportunities to enjoy the indoor pool and unwind close to home.
The center invites the community to take advantage of the expanded hours as part of a relaxing "staycation" experience. With increased access to the pool, kids and adults alike can enjoy recreational swimming, making it a great option for daytime fun during school break.

Despite Theft and Setbacks, Utah Bride Heads to Turkey for Her Big Day
A South Jordan bride preparing to marry in Turkey had her wedding dress and other items stolen from her car just days before departure. The gown, tailored to meet modesty standards, was worth over $3,000. Despite the loss, the brideβs family and community have rallied to help, offering dresses and assistance. The couple is still set to leave for California and then Turkey this week, with the family determined the wedding will go onβdress or no dress.

Woods Cross Crushes Viewmont 43-8 Behind Dominant Ground Game
Woods Cross surged to a decisive 43-8 win over Viewmont in a Region 6 showdown, improving their season record to 7-3. The Wildcats wasted no time asserting control, opening the scoring in the first quarter with a short 3-yard touchdown run by Viliami Tapa'atoutai. Momentum continued to swing in Woods Cross's favor as Jesse Simmons broke free for a 52-yard dash to the end zone.
In the third quarter, Liam Benson powered through Viewmont's defense for a 2-yard touchdown, setting the stage for a dominant final stretch. Both Tapa'atoutai and Benson added to their tallies in the fourth quarter, capping off a relentless offensive performance.
Viewmont, now 4-6, struggled to find rhythm throughout the game but avoided the shutout with a late 65-yard touchdown pass from Brady Clegg to Jack Savage.
