๐ฏ๏ธ Farmington Memorial Ceremony Set for TONIGHT
The Davis County Sheriffโs Office will host a memorial ceremony tonight, May 7 at 7 PM in Farmington to honor fallen law enforcement officers who lost their lives serving the community. Community members are invited to attend and pay their respects at the Sheriffโs Office on State Street.
Why It Matters: The annual ceremony gives South Davis residents a chance to recognize the sacrifice made by local law enforcement families and first responders.

๐ณ๏ธ Meet Davis County Candidates in Kaysville TONIGHT
A community meet-and-greet featuring several Davis County candidates is happening tonight from 6:30โ8:00 PM at 329 N. 1000 E. in Kaysville. Residents can meet Kendalyn Harris (Commission Seat A), Brian McKenzie (County Clerk), Aaron Perry (Sheriff), and Lili Bitner (House District 17).
Why It Matters: The event gives local voters a chance to ask questions and connect face-to-face with candidates before election season ramps up.

๐ฆฌ Baby Bison Season Hits Antelope Island
Baby bison โ nicknamed โred dogsโ for their bright reddish color โ are now roaming around Antelope Island State Park. Park officials say spring is one of the best times to spot the playful calves, but visitors should give bison extra space since adults can become more protective during calving season.
Why It Matters: With warmer weather bringing more families to Antelope Island, knowing how to safely watch wildlife helps keep both visitors and animals protected.

๐ Bountiful Heads to the Semis!
Bountiful High School Boys Volleyball advanced to the semifinals of the state volleyball tournament after a quarterfinal win over Viewmont. The Redhawks will face their next matchup tomorrow at 10:30 AM at Utah Valley University, with a chance to play for the state championship at 4 PM if they win.
Why It Matters: Itโs a big moment for Bountiful sports fans and a chance for the community to rally behind a local team chasing a state title. Letโs Go!
