Abandoned Pet Ducks Found at Bountiful Pond

Seven domesticated ducks have been found abandoned at Bountiful Pond, prompting concern from local residents. Friendly and clearly used to human contact, the ducks have been approaching people for food and even allow themselves to be held.

Concerned visitors have fed them chicken pellets and seeds, guiding them to a safer clearing near the north pier. While the ducks seem healthy for now, their tame nature makes them vulnerable in the wild, especially as colder weather approaches.

This is not the first case of animals being dumped at the pond, and residents are calling for greater awareness and action to prevent future abandonments. Community members are hopeful that someone with the means to care for the ducks will step in soon.

Titanic Exhibit Brings Historic Voyage to Life in Salt Lake City

An unforgettable journey into the past has docked in Salt Lake City with the opening of Titanic: The Exhibition. Located at The Shops at South Town, this immersive experience offers visitors a rare opportunity to step aboard a full-scale recreation of the iconic ocean liner.

Designed to transport guests back to 1912, the exhibition features elaborate reconstructions of the ship’s most famous interiors and exteriors. Visitors can wander through a lifelike dock scene, stroll the starry promenade deck, and even gaze up at the Grand Staircase—faithfully replicated to stunning effect.

Highlights include the ship’s opulent first-class suites, gritty boiler rooms, and detailed galleries that reflect the era’s design and spirit. Through interactive displays and atmospheric settings, attendees gain a deeper understanding of the Titanic’s short-lived voyage and enduring legacy.

Titanic: The Exhibition is now open to the public as of October 17, 2025. The experience takes about an hour and is open to guests of all ages, with children under four admitted free. Tickets start at $29.50, and the exhibit is conveniently located in Suite #5 near Target and Old Navy within The Shops at South Town.

Utah Art Studio Lets You Create Without a Brush — Just Bring Imagination

A one-of-a-kind art studio in South Jordan, Utah, is redefining creativity by ditching the traditional paintbrush. The Art Studio invites guests to express themselves using unexpected tools like squirt bottles, syringes, and spinning canvases.

High-Powered Bountiful Meets Resilient Springville in Semifinal Showdown

Springville and Bountiful will meet in a 5A girls soccer semifinal on Saturday at Zions Bank Stadium, in a rematch of last year’s quarterfinal won by Bountiful. Springville, appearing in its first semifinal in 16 years, has leaned on strong defense and a balanced offense. Bountiful, in its fourth straight semifinal, brings one of the most explosive attacks in 5A. The winner advances to the title match against Olympus or Spanish Fork.
