Annie’s Café Brings the Spirit of Thanksgiving to Life with Meals and Generosity
This Thanksgiving, Annie’s Café became a true symbol of community care, preparing over 150 warm meals for local families in need. The café also opened its pantry doors, allowing families to take home essentials like canned goods and baby formula—no questions asked, just open-hearted giving.
Powered entirely by donations and the kindness of neighbors, the effort transformed the café into more than just a holiday gathering spot. It became a space where compassion was as abundant as the food on every plate.
The gesture didn’t go unnoticed. Across the community, people expressed deep appreciation, sharing stories of Annie’s generosity over the years and recognizing the café as a quiet yet powerful force of good. Many spoke of how Annie's consistent kindness and giving spirit have left a lasting mark on the town.
At its core, Annie’s Café has always been about more than meals. This Thanksgiving, it reminded everyone what’s possible when a community comes together—not just to feed bellies, but to nourish hearts.

Utah Ski Season Gains Momentum as More Resorts Announce Openings This Week
Several Utah ski resorts, including Snowbasin, Park City Mountain, and Woodward Park City, are opening this week as snowstorms continue to sweep the state. Brighton Resort opened last week, and more resorts are expected to follow as snow conditions improve. The early snowfall has boosted ski season prospects but also created hazardous road conditions in mountainous areas.

Bingham Pulls Away Early in Blowout Win Over Viewmont
The Viewmont Vikings faced a tough challenge on the court as they fell to Bingham in a 58-26 loss. The game slipped out of reach in the second quarter when Bingham surged ahead, outscoring Viewmont 22-5 to build a commanding lead.
Bingham's offense fired on all cylinders, with key contributions from standout players who consistently found the basket from long range. By the final buzzer, the Miners had maintained control throughout, limiting Viewmont's scoring opportunities, particularly in the fourth quarter, where the Vikings managed just three points.
Despite the loss, Viewmont showed moments of promise, led by Annie Layton, who scored eight points. The defeat brings Viewmont’s record to 1-1 as they look to bounce back in upcoming matchups.

🐾 Helping Your Dog Grow in Confidence
Just like people, dogs feel more relaxed and well-behaved when they’re confident. A confident dog is better able to handle new people, places, and sounds without shutting down or overreacting.
Here are a few simple ways to build your dog’s confidence:
Keep challenges small & winnable
Ask for easy cues (like sit or touch) in new places so your dog can succeed and earn rewards.Pair new things with good things
When your dog sees or hears something unfamiliar, calmly praise and offer a treat. Over time, they learn: “New doesn’t mean scary.”Let them choose to explore
Give your dog time and space. Don’t force them toward new people or objects—let curiosity lead, and reward brave steps.Celebrate progress, not perfection
Confidence grows with repetition. Lots of small wins beat one big “perfect” session.
