💙 Wear Blue Day Shines Light on Child Abuse Prevention

This Friday, April 10, communities across Utah are encouraged to wear blue to raise awareness for child abuse prevention. The initiative highlights the importance of supporting safe, healthy environments for children and recognizing the role everyone plays in protecting them.

Why It Matters: It’s a simple way for South Davis residents to show support for vulnerable children and promote a safer community for families.

📸 Photography Class Kicks Off at BDAC April 11

The Bountiful Davis Art Center is hosting “The Art of Seeing with a Camera,” a multi-week photography class running through April. The course focuses on helping participants improve how they observe light, composition, and everyday moments—no fancy gear required. It’s designed for beginners and hobbyists looking to sharpen their creative eye.

Why It Matters: It’s a great local opportunity for residents to build creative skills and connect with the arts community right here in Bountiful. 👉 Learn More

🚰 Church Well Down… Again (Just Kidding… Sort Of)

Well, (pun intended) . . . yesterday, the church well went down again due to ongoing electrical issues, leaving water service temporarily unavailable. There’s no clear timeline for when it will be back up, but updates will be shared as repairs continue. (Yes… it’s becoming a bit of a tradition at this point.)

Why It Matters: Temporary water outages can impact daily routines for nearby residents and church activities, so staying informed helps everyone plan ahead.

🌿 Come Back to Your Breath

In a world that moves fast, yoga invites us to slow down and reconnect—with our breath, our body, and ourselves. It’s not about perfect poses or flexibility… it’s about presence.

When you move your body with intention and connect it to your breath, something shifts. Your mind quiets, your nervous system softens, and your body begins to release what it’s been holding.

✨ Wellness Tip:
Take 3 minutes today to simply breathe and stretch.
Inhale as you reach your arms up…
Exhale as you fold forward…

No pressure. No perfection. Just presence.

Even the smallest moments of movement can bring you back to center. 💜
