💊 Bountiful PD Hosting Drug Take-Back Event

The Bountiful Police Department will host a “Crush the Crisis” drug take-back event on April 25 from 10 AM–2 PM at Smith's Marketplace. Residents can safely dispose of unused or expired medications, and the department’s disposal box is also available 24/7 in the police department lobby.

Why It Matters: Safe medication disposal helps prevent accidental misuse and keeps unused drugs out of local homes and waterways.

🐝 Kaysville Family Finds 30,000 Bees Inside Home Wall

A Kaysville homeowner got an unexpected surprise after discovering an estimated 30,000 bees living inside a wall of the home. Beekeepers were called in to safely remove the swarm, which had reportedly been building for months before being discovered.

Why It Matters: As bee swarms become more common in warmer months, experts say residents should call professionals instead of trying to remove hives themselves.

🥍 Woods Cross Edged in Close Lacrosse Battle

The Woods Cross High School girls lacrosse team fell just short in a tight 9-8 matchup against Alta High School on April 22. Meanwhile, Bountiful High School dropped a road game to Olympus High School, 17-5, with Claire Jensen and Sage Brice each scoring twice for the Redhawks.
