๐ฐ Bringing Advanced Water Testing to Bountiful
At Retego Labs, itโs about understanding the details of your water. Founded by lifelong Bountiful resident Les Merrill and Dr. Christopher Lloyd, a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Utah, Retego Labs brings decades of worldwide experience in water testing and treatment right to our community. For over ten years, they've been at the forefront of providing fast, reliable water testing for homes and businesses.
Located at 2320 N 640 W Ste F in West Bountiful, UT, Retego Labs is easy to reach at 801-209-5460 or through their website, www.retegolabs.com.
๐ The Foundersโ Journey
Les and Chris saw a significant gap in the water treatment industry โ there werenโt great options for quick and accurate water testing. With their unique expertise and several US and international patents, they decided to make a change. They developed the TTR, a portable system that performs over 22 different tests in minutes. This allows them to customize solutions tailored to the specific needs of your water, whether it's for your home or business.

๐ฆ Recognized Excellence
Retego Labsโ dedication to innovation and quality has earned them several accolades, including the Utah Innovations Award in Research and Development and the title of Best of Park City in Environmental Services. Their cutting-edge technology, combined with exceptional customer service, ensures that every client understands their waterโs unique chemistry and receives the best possible treatment.
Community Involvement
Retego Labs is not just a business; it's a part of the Bountiful community. One of their proudest moments was helping St. Olaf's Catholic School provide safe drinking water for its students and staff. They donated three drinking fountains and countless hours of service to install a new treatment system, highlighting their commitment to ensuring everyone has access to safe drinking water.
๐งAt Retego Labs, the mission is to help you understand whatโs in your water and why it matters. Their innovative solutions and community spirit make them a standout in the field of water testing and treatment.
For more information or to schedule a water test, visit www.retegolabs.com or call 801-209-5460.

Residents Urged to Conserve as Centerville Water Rates Rise
Centerville's water rates are set to increase as part of a broader effort to fund necessary infrastructure improvements and manage rising operational costs. The new rates will be implemented gradually, and residents are encouraged to conserve water to manage their expenses.

Farmington Police Arrest Suspect in String of Purse Robberies
Farmington police have noted a rise in purse thefts at Station Park, attributing these incidents to organized South American theft rings. These groups use distraction techniques where one thief engages the victim while another steals their wallet. Lt. Brian Cooper emphasized that these thieves quickly use stolen credit cards for large purchases. Recently, America Daniela Gonzalez Tobar was arrested, suspected of being part of these criminal groups. Authorities are working with federal agencies to combat this issue and advise the public to stay vigilant.

Want Sโmore Wood? Local Fundraiser๐
Farnsworthโs kids are selling firewood to help cover costs for their extra activities like swim team, mountain biking, and ballet. Theyโve worked hard to cut, split, and box this wood all on their own. Each large banana box is packed full, including kindling pieces, with a mix of aspen and pine. The wood is very dry and ready to burn.
Theyโre calling their project โSโmore Woodโ and are selling it for just $10 a box! (Thatโs at least twice the amount of wood youโd get in a gas station bundle.) You can pay via Venmo and pick up from their house in Farmington.
If youโre interested, message Lori for details. Thank you for your support!
