Centerville Hosts Artistic Date Night at the Whitaker Museum

Centerville City is inviting couples to enjoy a relaxed and creative night out with its upcoming Date Night Art Class, set to take place at the historic Whitaker Museum on Thursday, August 14, from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m.

The event offers a chance for pairs to explore their artistic side in a welcoming, hands-on environment. Guided by instructor Nancy Andruk Olson—known for her passion for nature-inspired art—participants will engage in a fun session designed to spark creativity and connection.

Priced at $30 per couple, the class is a budget-friendly way to unwind and share a memorable experience. Pre-registration is required to reserve a spot, and space is limited. The Whitaker Museum, located at 168 North Main Street, provides a charming backdrop for this unique evening.

Hill AFB Civilian Picnic Returns August 27 with Free Lunch and Fun

Hill Air Force Base is bringing back its popular DoD Civilian Appreciation Picnic on Wednesday, August 27, at 11:00 a.m. The event will take place at Centennial Park and offers a well-deserved break for civilian personnel to enjoy a relaxing afternoon outdoors.

Attendees can look forward to free food and a festive atmosphere, with meals available while supplies last. A civilian release letter has been authorized, allowing eligible employees to participate without affecting their work hours.

The full menu will be announced in the coming weeks, but organizers encourage all civilian employees to save the date and plan for a casual, community-centered celebration.

Young Automotive's KIND Fund Drives $7M Effort to Feed and Clothe Kids in Need

The Young Automotive Group has expanded its charitable reach through the KIND Fund, which supports food security, education, and clothing needs for children in Utah and Idaho. Since launching in 2022, the fund has contributed over $7 million to local nonprofits, impacting over 42,000 children with meals, supplies, and more. Key efforts include pantry packs for students and support for 16 school districts, with all administrative costs covered by the company itself.

Bountiful Cheer Team Kicks Off Clothing Drive for Fundraising Effort

The Bountiful Cheer Team is rallying community support through a clothing drive fundraiser, offering an easy way for residents to donate and make a difference. Team members are collecting gently used clothing and household textiles, with all donations going to support Big Brothers Big Sisters of Utah.

The drive not only helps fund mentorship programs across the state but also benefits the cheer team by contributing to their fundraising efforts for uniforms, travel, and competition expenses. Residents who wish to donate can simply send a direct message to the team’s Instagram page to schedule a clothing pickup, making it a convenient way to contribute from home.

This local effort combines community spirit, youth mentorship, and support for student athletics — all through the simple act of clearing out your closet.

The Knights of Columbus Council 5502 are proud to host the 1st Annual Golf FUNdraiser for Saint Olaf Catholic School! Please consider playing in this fun 18-hole scramble on Saturday, September 6, 2025, at Lakeside Golf Course in West Bountiful.

There is a luncheon and opportunity to win a car from Performance Toyota Bountiful with a hole in one!
